I hired Liv to cook for a surprise 40th birthday dinner for my husband, but she did so much more than just prepare the meal. The event was outstanding from start to finish. Liv was prompt and professional in answering all of my questions before the event. She also supplied  everything from menus, to place settings and glassware to table decor. Chef Livi catered breakfast and lunch at our conference in Phoenixville today and everything was OUTSTANDING.  Good, fresh, quality ingredients and incredible chef curated entrees and baked goods.  Her clam chowder rivals any I've had on either coast.  She's a 5 star chef with a 5 star plus way about her!   She serves incredible food, but that's because she truly looks to "serve" people! Chef Livi created an absolutely unforgettable experience catering and creating my gorgeous Irish-themed 40th birthday party with 60 guests. From the very first detail to the final bite, everything was executed with such care, passion, and artistry.

The food was truly phenomenal — every dish was incredibly delicious, beautifully balanced, and full of rich, comforting flavor. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything tasted, and many went back for seconds (and thirds!). It felt like a perfect blend of authentic Irish inspiration with an elevated, elegant touch.

The aesthetics were simply stunning. Chef Olivia designed a visually beautiful spread that perfectly captured the spirit of the celebration. The presentation was thoughtful, cohesive, and so inviting — every table and serving display looked like it belonged in a magazine. It created such a warm and festive atmosphere that made the milestone birthday feel extra special.

What stood out most was how she worked tirelessly handling every detail with professionalism and heart, ensuring the event flowed smoothly and that every guest felt taken care of. Her dedication and positive energy made the entire experience stress-free and joyful.

Chef Livi of The Painted Olive gave us an unforgettable dining experience for my best friends and I's 40th birthday dinner. From start to finish, everything was exceptional! She curated a Caribbean inspired menu that was so thoughtful. We began with papas rellenas, perfectly crisped potato croquettes stuffed with beautifully seasoned curried lamb. They were so flavorful. Next was a vibrant Caribbean salad with leafy greens, dried tropical fruit, prawns, and a delicious honey-lime dressing. It was fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced.

For the main course, she served jerk cornish hens with rice & peas and mixed vegetables. The flavors were incredible!!!
To end the evening, we enjoyed a refreshing dragon fruit and mango sorbet that was the perfect ending. May I also add that Chef Livi was incredibly accommodating, thoughtfully adjusting dishes for allergies and preparing a beautiful vegan substitute for one of my friends without compromising flavor or presentation. Chef Olivia from The Painted Olive was absolutely phenomenal. She created an All-American New Year’s Eve menu for 12 guests, and every part of the experience was outstanding — planning, prep, setup, the meal itself, and thorough clean-up.

She went above and beyond accommodating very difficult food allergies and individual preferences, making everyone feel safe and included without compromising on flavor. The food was delicious and beautifully executed, and Olivia herself was incredibly kind, calm, and a joy to have in our home.

We had an amazing experience with the Painted Olive. My college friends and I celebrated our 40th birthdays together and asked Livi to prepare a Caribbean inspired dinner for 6. We had a few allergies in the group and speciality diets which Livi was able to cater to without hesitation.  The entire process from booking to clean up post dinner was seamless. What fun! Livi did an instructional dinner focused on my specific food needs (organic, gluten and dairy free) and we had so much fun while learning a lot!
